doing some more plugging for what is currently ranking high on my "favorite movies of all time" list: Disney's Meet the Robinsons. comes out March 30th!! PLEEEEASE go watch it 'cause it's so cute and funny and it's just... i just loved it. :) i got to see it last night because my sister Katherine is awesome and i love her very much. XP
but anyways, for obvious reasons, i can't really talk about it. but i loved it, and i demand that like, five hundred million people go watch it when it comes out.
just make sure you check it out. :D Meet the Robinsons, out March 30!!

| so yesterday was that abyssmal commercial holiday that has come to be
known as "Valentine's Day." erk. or "Single's Awareness Day." or, as my
sister and i discovered a while back, "Quirkyalone Day." blah,
whatever. my sisters, some of our friends, and i are just not very
enthusiastic about the stuff. i saw a couple o' people on the bus with
big, red, heart-shaped balloons, and i had to resist the very powerful
urge to reach over and flick it, or pop it, or otherwise express some
form of bitterness to their lovey-dovey-ness.
but anyways, the
day itself was uneventful. try as they might, CSULA was unable to get
many people into the spirit of the commercial holiday. as far as i
could see, anyway. there was this stall set up near the library for the
past week with big red and pink hearts decorating it and this giant
teddy bear wrapped in some red sheer material, and people yelling out
pseudo-advertisements for the event. i didn't see many people stopping
to take them up on their offer. i guess a lot of us are just bitter
cynics.
so i left campus and started home, and then from there
my sisters and i went to our friend's place for a "Pity Party", as they
call it. a bunch of girls sitting around, eating belgian waffles,
pancit, chocolate cake, ice cream, and rice (yeah, weird mix, huh?) and
booing at pictures of everyone's ex's. or at least, the ex's of those
who had any to speak of. i'm bunched into that ex-less group. and i
would have refused to give them any pictures anyway. 
it was just for a while, a bunch of girls hanging out and being bitter. we eventually decided to watch a movie and put in "The Last Kiss."
OMG, BIG MISTAKE. it just riled us all up beyond belief (DAMN YOU, ZACH
BRAFF'S CHARACTER!! GRRR) and we kept screaming and punching throw
pillows and wanting to fire sticky dart guns at the screen. arrrrgh, it
was so frustrating to watch.
i've decided that if my (future) boyfriend ever cheats on me, i'll castrate him.
when
i announced that at the end of the movie, our friends were all like
O_O. apparently they had no idea i was capable of such thoughts and
were utterly shocked. my sister was just like, "yeah, she's the most
lethal and violent of us all."
bwaha. beware.
so
anyways, we ended up getting home at around 1-ish (bwaha). fun night,
but i think my throat is a little scratchy from all the yelling. and
there's school again today. T-T at least i'm off again tomorrow | | |
